I’m not sure if my child needs speech therapy. Should I schedule a consultation?

Yes! One of the benefits of the consultation is that we can talk to you about your concerns and can meet your child. At the consultation we will recommend whether or not a speech evaluation (and therapy) is needed.

What happens at a consultation?

• At the meeting you can share your concerns about your child's speech or language. Your child will have a chance to play a teletherapy game with me for a few minutes.

• If at the end of the screen we all agree that your child would benefit from an evaluation and treatment, we will collect a deposit to book you a spot.

Online Therapy Sessions

• 30-minute Zoom session each week plus a weekly home program for practicing.

Online Speech Evaluations-

• Your child is given a targeted assessment via video conferencing at the first 1-2 sessions.

• Based on the results, the speech language pathologist develops a customized treatment plan.

• You receive a written report of your child’s skill level, oral motor functioning, and communicative strengths and weakness

• Most evaluations are included in the fee for the initial session of $80. Longer standardized tests are available upon request or as necessary with an increased fee.

We are a Jon Peterson Scholarship Provider. We do not accept insurance in order to focus our resources and time on providing our clients the highest quality services.

Under the No Surprises Act, each self-pay client has a right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of Expected Charges
